Configure and manage your authentication settings Print
Modified on: Wed, 17 Sep, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Sastrify admins can manage authentication settings by navigating to Settings > User & Company Data > Sastrify Users tab and locating Authentication Settings on the right.
This section displays the active login method, auto-join status, and default user role:
Login Method—Determines how users access Sastrify, either with a username and password or via single sign-on (SSO).
Auto-Join—When enabled, it allows users with a specific domain to join and create an account without an invite.
Default Role – Sets a single, default user permission for auto-joined accounts. This role can be adjusted later on the User & Company Data page.

How to enable SSO in Sastrify
Click "Edit" on the Authentication Settings card.
Select your preferred SSO provider.
If Google or Microsoft is selected, all existing users will receive an email notifying them of the change. SSO is enabled immediately.
For other providers (e.g., Okta, JumpCloud, Cisco Duo, and OneLogin), Sastrify’s engineering team will assist with setup, and additional steps may be required from your admin. Refer to the configuration guides below. Click "Enable SSO" to proceed.

Click "Save Changes" to apply the configuration.
Other providers (Okta, JumpCloud, Cisco Duo, and OneLogin) require additional configuration steps to enable SSO. Refer to the guides below for detailed instructions:
Note: Users who are allowed access via Auto-Join functionality will not receive this notification email (see below for more details on Auto-Join).How to enable Auto-Join function
The Auto-Join functionality allows users to access the company’s Sastrify platform without requiring an invitation.

To enable auto-join:
- Toggle Auto-Join to On.
- Enter the company domain.
- Set default user permissions for new users joining via Auto-Join (roles can be updated later). Refer to this article to learn more about roles and permissions
- Click Save Changes to confirm.
Once enabled, users with the registered domain can log in via any approved method and will be automatically assigned to the corresponding company.
