What is Sastrify Slack App?


The Sastrify Slack app enhances user engagement by delivering actionable notifications and informational alerts directly within your Slack workspace. This integration keeps you informed and enables you to take immediate action without leaving your familiar environment.

How to connect the Sastrify App to your Slack Workspace


The Sastrify Slack app can be accessed from Settings > Notifications. 

  1. Locate the Slack Notifications connection card at the top of the page.
  2. Click the "Connect" button. 
  3. You will be taken to the Request Permissions page to grant the necessary permissions for the integration to work, establish a connection between the two platforms, and enable the transmission of relevant notifications.
  4. Establish the connection by granting Sastrify permission; click "Allow" to proceed.
  5. Once completed, you will be redirected back to Sastrify's Notification Settings page, where you can confirm that the app has successfully connected.




It's important to note that users setting up the Slack App must have an admin role to Sastrify.

Single Admin Authentication: Only one admin user needs to activate the Slack app for the organization. This user is linked to the authentication mechanism. If they are removed from the organization, re-authentication will be required to maintain access to the Slack app.

Customizing your channel preferences


The Notifications settings page—accessible via Settings > Notifications in the left-hand panel—gives you the flexibility to customize your channel preferences, allowing you to choose what you receive and where you receive it. To ensure you receive notifications via Slack, make sure to enable all relevant Slack toggles.
